The silicone feels thick and flexible, just like the original that came with my pump. It snaps into the housing snugly, so I'm not worried about milk getting into the tubing anymore.
I was relieved that this diaphragm is clearly BPA-free silicone—it feels sturdy and hygienic. The closed system works exactly as described, and I’ve had no leaks or loss of suction.
The replacement diaphragm fit perfectly into my pump and the food-grade silicone feels sturdy, not flimsy like the last one I tried. It's sealed well so no milk backs up into the tubing, which is exactly what I needed. Pumping feels like it did when the pump was brand new.
